Assessment Team Meeting of the program M.Sc Mathematics held on 10th Feb, 2017. Where the program M.Sc Mathematics was assessed through Self Assessment Report. Following were the Assessment Team Members:

Prime Minister's Laptops Scheme is for talented students and the main objective of this scheme is to enhance the scope of research and quality education in the country and increase the access to information technology.
Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, Vice-Chancellor of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, Peshawar distributed 65 laptops among undergraduate students in ceremony of 5th distribution of Prime Minister’s Laptops Scheme, Phase-II on Thursday, 16th February, 2017 at Main Campus of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, Peshawar.

The Department of English observed Cleanliness Day at the City Campus on 8th Feb, 2017. The students enthusiastically and actively participated in it. The department believes that no stone can be left unturned when it comes to creating a safe and healthy learning environment.
A two days seminar on "Understanding the Qualitative Research From Theory to Practice (Round I)" on 25_26th of January, 2017 was organized by Department of Economics, SBBWUP. The purpose of this seminar was to provide a platform for researchers to network and disseminate knowledge on areas of expertise with each other. Qualitative research experts from various disciplines participated in the seminar as guest speakers. In this introductory seminar the speakers not only introduced the qualitative research but also addressed the diversity of existing qualitative methods and various traditions of the qualitative research. The seminar was concluded by an open house panel discussion of the experts where the future of qualitative research was the main focus of discussion. In the closing ceremony, the Vice Chancellor Dr. Razia Sultana distributed the shields and certificates among the speakers, organizers and participants. In the end, Dr. Razia Sultana, in her closing address, highly appreciated the efforts of the organizers and encouraged to continue such activities in future.
The Department of Law arranged a visit to Central Jail of Peshawar on February 8,2017 in the supervision of Prof. Abdul Manan, Head of Department and Hira Shahjehan, Lecturer. Students were taken to different parts of Jail, where they came across prisoners involved in different crimes. They also visited the spot where criminals are hanged. A short speech was also delivered by the Superintendent of Jail. The efforts of law department for the legal grooming of the students were highly appreciated by the Superintendent of Jail.
The visit has proved to be very productive and helpful for the legal grooming of the students.
The first round of the 19th "All Pakistan Inter-University Declamation Contest for the Award of Allama Iqbal Shield", University Level contest was held on January 23rd, 2017 at the City Campus. Maleeha (Department of English) stood first in the Debate competition in English and Ayesha Bibi from Department of Economics stood first in the Urdu Debate Competition.
